About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Dental Billing Coordinator to support a leading multi-location dental organization based in the United States. This role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of US dental billing, revenue cycle management, and insurance claims processing who thrive in a detail-oriented, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full dental billing cycle for assigned providers and clinics, from claim creation through final payment posting.
Submit accurate and timely insurance claims, ensuring proper coding, narratives, and supporting documentation.
Process insurance payments, adjustments, write-offs, and secondary claims.
Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
Investigate and resolve claim denials and rejections, submitting appeals when necessary.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to obtain required documentation and coding clarifications.
Track and maintain performance metrics related to collections, claim accuracy, and aging accounts.
Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all patient data privacy requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in US dental billing.
Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle, including claims, payment posting, denials, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Strong understanding of dental Medicaid billing and insurance processes.
Experience with dental practice management systems such as Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Denticon, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with clearinghouses such as Claim.MD, DentalXChange, Vyne Trellis, or equivalent.
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with performance metrics and KPIs.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Dentrix or Dentrix Enterprise.
Experience supporting multi-location dental organizations.
Knowledge of ERA processing and payment posting automation.
Experience documenting billing procedures and process improvements.
