About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of our U.S.-based clients. In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support month-end and reporting processes.

This position is ideal for accounting professionals in Colombia who want to gain international experience, work remotely, and grow their careers in a stable, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close.
Maintain accurate records in accounting software.
Support invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams and U.S.-based clients.
Assist with audits and documentation when required.

Requirements

Degree or technical studies in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
Intermediate to advanced English (written and conversational).
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Responsible, organized, and proactive attitude.
Experience with U.S. accounting processes is a plus but not required.
Experience in BPOs, shared services, or accounting firms is highly valued.
CPA studies or ongoing accounting certifications are a plus.
