Multinational company is seeking a Bilingual Collections Leader – with focus on Shared Services Center in collections, master data management, and credit experience.
The role will be responsible for leading and supervising the collections team, ensuring proactive management of customer debts in line with agreed payment terms, maximizing cash flow, and minimizing DSO. The position will support customer centers in different regions, manage team performance, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with internal policies and corporate controls.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the collections team.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure payments are made within agreed deadlines.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances.
- Supervise, train, support, and evaluate the team, fostering their professional development.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, partial payments, and claims in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
- Ensure all collection activities are properly recorded in SAP and other internal systems.
- Oversee the shared mailbox management, ensuring timely responses.
- Ensure compliance with processes, principles, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Generate dunning letters and statements according to the defined schedule.
- Upload invoice copies daily to customer portals and follow up on issues.
- Update internal systems (e.g., SAP, ERP) with collection activities and status notes.
- Ensure the team follows processes and principles correctly, meets performance targets, and provides high-quality support.
Education:
University degree (preferably in Finance or related fields).
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of work experience leading credit and accounts receivable teams. Preferably in FSC, experience in master data management, experience in a financial environment desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Advanced knowledge of SAP.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on self-management and proactivity.
Strong experience in staff management and team leadership.
Languages:
Minimum English level B2 – required for continuous interaction with international teams, interviews, and training. (Testing and interview will be conducted).
