Etl data engineer

Requirements
Must have:
• Experience with ETL tools: Informatica and DataStage
• Proficiency in relational databases: MsSQL and MySQL
• Operating system knowledge: Linux, Unix, and Windows
• Experience with cloud data integration tools: AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory
• Scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Batch, and Shell
• Familiarity with utilities: DBeaver, Notepad++, DataGrip, Postman, and Insomnia
• Experience using tools like Microsoft Access, Excel, and JDBC/ODBC clients
• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise data warehouse (EDW) environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile environments
• Highly proficient in speaking and writing in English (80–95%)
Nice to have:
• Experience optimizing ETL processes and query performance
• Knowledge of data modeling and analytical solution design
• Familiarity with data quality and monitoring tools
• Experience with data migration between platforms
• Basic understanding of cloud architecture and integration services
Responsibilities
• Support and maintain enterprise data warehouse (EDW) environments
• Develop and manage ETL processes using Informatica and DataStage
• Administer and query relational databases (MsSQL, MySQL)
• Automate tasks using Python, PowerShell, Batch, and Shell scripts
• Integrate and process data using AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data workflows
• Document technical processes and collaborate with development teams
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
