Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
· 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
· Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, handling large data volumes).
· Strong experience working with Azure SQL Database or cloud-based relational databases.
· Proven experience working under Agile / Scrum methodologies.
· High level of autonomy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice to Have:
· Previous experience or knowledge of Snowflake.
· Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
· Knowledge or experience with dbt.
· Experience with Data & Analytics architectures.
· Knowledge of data modeling techniques (dimensional, relational).
· Experience leading technical initiatives or making architectural decisions.

Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and optimize complex data solutions using advanced SQL.
· Lead the definition of data structures and models supporting the Data & Analytics platform.
· Work with Azure SQL Database, ensuring high standards of performance, scalability, and security.
· Act as a technical reference within the Back-End team for database and data pipeline topics.
· Implement and promote best practices for development, version control, and code documentation using GitHub.
· Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, providing technical input for task estimation and planning.
· Collaborate with Data Analytics, BI teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all stages of data processing.
· Adopt and implement new technologies such as Snowflake and dbt as required by the project.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of data ingestion, transformation, and data exposure processes.
