At CGI, we are looking for a Power BI Developer to work on an international project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining BI solutions.
- Strong expertise in:
o Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service (data modeling, measures, DAX, and visualization design).
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and business storytelling.
- Experience publishing, maintaining, and optimizing reports in Power BI Service / Workspace.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL databases, APIs, Excel, etc.) and ensure efficient data extraction and refresh processes.
- Build data models with appropriate relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures using DAX.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
- Implement and maintain row-level security, role-based access, and report version control.
- Support end users with troubleshooting, training, and Power BI adoption initiatives.

Nice to Have:
- SQL for querying, joins, and performance optimization.
- Data modeling and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and report automation.
- Experience integrating Power BI with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of CI/CD for BI deployments and version control (Git, DevOps pipelines).
- Exposure to data governance and metadata management frameworks.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in data reporting.

Complementary Skills:
- Experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and reporting solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and BI solution design, and will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that business intelligence solutions align with both technical and business requirements.
