Requirements
Must have:
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
• Full professional fluency in English (C1/C2 level) – required for leading meetings, documentation, and stakeholder negotiation
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework
• Proven ability to manage product backlogs and lead agile ceremonies effectively
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, stakeholder influence, and decision-making
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing external client relationships successfully
Nice to have:
• Experience in product engineering environments and full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Background in digital products for the hospitality industry (hotels, cruises, travel agencies, reservation systems)
• Familiarity or interest in Generative AI tools (e.g., Atlassian Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot for Business, Rovo)
• Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent
Responsibilities
• Collaborate directly with RCYC and internal stakeholders to define and evangelize a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Own, prioritize, and meticulously maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer value
• Translate complex business needs into clear, well-defined user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for the development team
• Lead and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, proactively managing stakeholder expectations and building trust
• Work hand-in-hand with Scrum Masters, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and to remove any impediments to progress
• Champion the adoption of modern tools and techniques, including GenAI-powered platforms to accelerate requirements gathering, user story creation, and overall product development lifecycle
