At CGI, we are currently hiring a ServiceNow Developer (FSM/CSM) to work on an international project.
Requirements:
- Technician, technologist, or professional in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6+ years experience implementing ServiceNow FSM and CSM modules in large organizations.
- Proven ability to lead development teams and act as a hands-on technical lead.
- Experience working with Product Teams and Agile Frameworks.
- Expertise in gathering business requirements and converting them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and configuration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS for Service Portal and UI customization.
- Understanding of FSM-specific plugins such as Template Management, Time Recording, and Business Location.
- Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration and customization, including FSM Dispatcher Workspace and CSM workflows.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow FSM and CSM modules for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Act as the technical lead and mentor for other developers, providing hands-on guidance and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams.
- Ensure code quality, resolve defects, and maintain high standards for performance and reliability.
- Support integrations with other systems using ServiceNow App Engine and related tools.
- Provide long-term support and enhancements for FSM/CSM modules post-deployment.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and recommend improvements.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with App Engine Studio for custom app development and integrations (nice to have).
- Experience with integrations using ServiceNow App Engine (nice to have).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Legal module (nice to have).
- Bonus: Experience with ServiceNow Legal module and App Engine integrations.
Complementary Skills:
- A seasoned ServiceNow developer with FSM/CSM implementation experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex ServiceNow projects in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve defects quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment and driving team alignment.
