5+ years implementing UKG WFM (Dimensions / Pro WFM / Kronos) specifically in retail or high-volume hourly environments.

Compliance rules
Accrual policies
Experience handling thousands of store associates in multi-country environments.
Workday HCM Integration
3+ years integrating Workday HCM with third-party WFM systems.
Strong experience with:
Workday Studio
Workday EIB
RaaS
Calculated fields
API integrations
Knowledge of global HR data structures and multi-country Workday tenants.
Payroll Technology
Experience integrating timekeeping data to multiple payroll systems across countries.
Understanding of complex retail payroll elements (premiums, variable shifts, special holidays, incentives).
Strong skills in audit and payroll reconciliation.
Responsibilities
1. UKG WFM Time & Attendance Ownership (Retail-Focused)
Lead the implementation of UKG WFM Time & Attendance modules across large retail store networks.
Configure complex retail-specific labor rules:
Premium pay (weekend, late-night, holiday)
Split shifts and multi-store assignments
Meal/rest penalty rules
Shift bidding and coverage rules
Grace periods, rounding, minor labor policies
Build store-specific profiles, labor levels, job mapping, and cost centers.
Manage configuration for multiple countries with different:
Workweek rules
Public holidays
Local labor laws
Compliance needs (FLSA, EU Working Time Directive, LATAM norms, etc.)
Define scalable templates for multi-country expansions.
2. Integration: Workday HCM UKG WFM
Design and manage global integrations delivering HR Core data from Workday to UKG:
Store employees (hourly & salaried)
Job profiles, positions, locations
Pay rates and pay grade structures
Transfers, promotions, reassignments
Multiple legal entities across countries
Build integration logic using:
Workday Studio
EIB inbound/outbound
Workday RaaS
Workday REST/SOAP APIs
Calculated fields for global variations
Ensure alignment of global HR data while supporting local country configurations (currency, formats, legal values).
3. UKG Timekeeping Multi-Country Payroll Integrations
Own the export of payroll-ready time data to multiple external payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP Payroll, Ceridian, Oracle, country-specific providers).
Ensure each countrys payroll file meets unique requirements:
Earnings code mapping
Country labor codes
Overtime rules per jurisdiction
Union agreements (if applicable)
Local tax and compliance reporting
Create a reconciliation framework for:
Daily punches
Missing punches
Pay code mismatches
Store-level exceptions
Guarantee payroll accuracy for thousands of hourly workers across multiple countries.
4. Integration Architecture & Middleware
Build middleware pipelines using Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or Azure Integration Services.
Implement secure data transfers across regions (OAuth, SFTP, token-based authentication).
Create transformation logic for:
Workday UKG (HR Core)
UKG Payroll (time & labor)
Multi-country formats (local calendars, time zones, currencies).
Develop monitoring dashboards for integration success/failure and proactive alerting.
5. Governance, Compliance & Security (Retail and Global)
Apply compliance frameworks relevant to retail operations:
FLSA (US)
Fair Workweek laws (NYC, Chicago, Oregon, etc.)
EU Working Time Directive
LATAM country labor norms
GDPR / data privacy rules
Maintain role-based access for store managers, district managers, and region supervisors.
Conduct yearly labor rules audits and system validations for multiple geographies.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Retail Operations
HR (central & country-specific)
Payroll teams in each country
Workday HCM team
Store managers and field operations
IT Security & Architecture
Lead UAT with store managers and country HR leads.
Translate retail business rules (peak hours, weekends, seasonal staffing) into technical logic.
7. Support, Deployment & Continuous Improvement
Support country-by-country rollouts and manage localization needs.
Lead hypercare and store-level support post go-live.
Provide root cause analysis for timecard discrepancies and payroll errors.
Document global processes and build scalable playbooks for new market entries.
Required Languages:
Advanced English (80-95%) (interaction with teams and users in the US)
