Requirements
5+ years of experience in Workday integration design and development.
Workday Integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors).
Human Resources, Payroll, Finance modules.
ETL (Extract/Transform/Load).
WebAPI.
Workday Integration Consultants / Analysts.
Experience designing and implementing complex integrations using Workday tools and middleware technologies.
Ability to work and coordinate with third parties such as payroll providers, benefits vendors, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
Strong experience with interface design, networking, and data transformation technologies.
Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
Strong technical experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and data transformation techniques.
Knowledge of Workday implementation and integration tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Workday Report Writer).
Experience with secure integration protocols such as SFTP, PGP encryption, and SSL certificates.
Understand database architecture, data flows, and downstream system impacts.
Strong understanding of Workday security groups and Integration System User (ISU).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and leadership.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
Ability to prioritize workload and ensure timely delivery of integration solutions.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities
Manage system integrations within the architecture of Workday (HCM, Payroll, Finance) and external systems.
Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
Provide support for inbound and outbound Workday integration issues, enhancements, and new implementations.
Monitor integrations, manage incidents, and ensure continuity of services.
Perform break/fix support, regression testing, and validation of integrations.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through technical analysis, development, and issue resolution.
Analyze and translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical integration solutions.
Ensure integrations comply with functional and technical specifications.
Consult with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders on integration design, data flows, and best practices.
Design, develop, and execute unit, system, and UAT test plans.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error handling processes.
Lead integration workstreams in Workday implementations or optimization projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior consultants.
Monitor and optimize integration performance (scheduling, payload, retries).
Document integration designs, workflows, and support procedures.
Ensure adherence to Data Governance practices and maintain data quality standards.
Follow integration and development best practices and standards.
Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
Implement secure data transfer protocols and maintain audit trails for integrations.
