Requirements
Must to have:
Strong expertise in Node.js backend development.
Deep knowledge of Azure services, including App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
Principal experience with Azure Container Apps (ACA).
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Familiarity with identity and access management using Azure AD and Managed Identities.
Experience in reviewing and validating Azure architectures and service proposals.
Ability to mentor developers and lead technical discussions.
In-depth proficiency with Azure SDKs, APIs, data storage options, authentication and authorization, debugging, monitoring, compute and container deployment, data connections, and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams and leadership.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments managing both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize workload, execute tasks efficiently, and provide timely follow-up and resolutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments.
Practical hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform.
5+ years of experience in backend design, integration, and development.

Responsibilities
Design, architect, and validate backend APIs, contracts, endpoints, and integration patterns for scalable solutions in Azure.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on development using Node.js and Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Service, API Management, and Container Apps.
Review and challenge Azure service proposals from Cloud Solution Architects to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of backend architectures through documentation, validation, and implementation best practices.
Collaborate closely with architects and development teams to align technical decisions with business requirements.
Ensure backend integrations and services meet performance, reliability, monitoring, and compliance standards.
Lead and participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural evaluations.
Support incident management, debugging, and performance optimization of backend and Azure-based services.
Promote and enforce best practices in API design, Azure development, and cloud-native architecture.
Ensure attention to data governance, quality, and security across backend components.
Conduct unit and integration testing for backend services and cloud components.
