Requirements
Must have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as Software Engineer, with at least 2 years specialized in Cloud architecture
Proficiency in .NET (C#) and Python, with strong programming fundamentals, software design patterns, and clean architecture
Experience building production-grade services and APIs (REST/OData, JSON/XML) and documenting them with Swagger/OpenAPI
Knowledge of secure API practices: OAuth2/OIDC, input validation, secrets management, and robust testing (unit/integration)
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred), branching workflows, observability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Datadog)
Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, AWS ECS, Azure Container Apps)
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)
Understanding of modern architectural styles: microservices, event-driven design, domain-driven design, and messaging/queues
Excellent documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Cloud:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, including App Services/Functions, API Management, Service Bus/Event Hub/Grid, Logic Apps, and Storage Accounts
Knowledge of authentication and directory services (Azure AD/Entra ID) and encryption standards
Data:
Proficiency with SQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization) and ORMs across SQL Server/PostgreSQL
Working knowledge of NoSQL and search technologies (Cosmos DB, Azure AI Search)
Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data processing libraries (Pandas, Polars, PySpark)
Nice to have:
Exposure to Applied AI/GenAI applications, including LLM integration, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval patterns (RAG/GraphRAG)
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph
Experience with AI integration standards (MCP, A2A)
Responsibilities
Design and evolve core platform services and reference implementations in .NET/Python
Build and document APIs (REST/OData, OpenAPI/Swagger) and ensure secure integration patterns
Implement cloud solutions on Azure/AWS, automate with Terraform and CI/CD
Integrate and optimize data stores (SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure AI Search)
Embed security and governance practices, including OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, and encryption standards
Collaborate with architects and product teams to turn standards into practical designs
Run pilots/PoCs (including AI/RAG where relevant) to assess feasibility and performance
Maintain clear design documentation and contribute to architectural repositories
