Job description:


Coordinate and manage international shipments from multiple origins to global destinations, ensuring operational accuracy, system visibility, SOP compliance, and effective coordination with vendors, carriers, and customers. The role focuses on ocean freight operations, order management, and supply chain visibility within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate incoming and outgoing international shipments (Ocean, Air, and Multimodal) across global trade lanes.
- Manage orders, suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Audit operational systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipment and booking data.
- Coordinate bookings based on documentation, contracts, and customer requirements.
- Monitor open orders and ensure system visibility and operational tracking.
- Ensure SOP compliance and report operational deviations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, vendors, and carriers to resolve operational issues.
- Provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders on shipment status.
- Ensure proper documentation and operational compliance with international trade requirements.
- Support accurate and timely invoicing processes.

Required Skills and knowledge

- Strong operational and analytical mindset
- International shipping documentation (BL, Commercial Invoice, Import/Export documentation)
- Transport modes (Ocean, Air, Truck, Rail)
- Ocean freight operations and key terminology (CY/CY, FCL, LCL, etc.)
- Role of customs brokers and freight forwarders
