We are looking for a highly motivated Software Developer – Java to join our growing technology team in Bogotá, Colombia. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable web applications, designing robust backend services, and delivering secure, high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

**Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build and maintain RESTful API services and internal system integrations
- Design and develop Microsoft SQL Server databases (data modeling, table design, stored procedures, triggers)
- Develop secure, robust, and transactional applications using object-oriented design principles and service-oriented architectures
- Troubleshoot and triage support requests, identify bugs vs. enhancements, and prioritize issues effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full software development lifecycle

**Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong English skills
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational database design
- Experience building secure, scalable applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

*Nice to Have

- Experience with modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Agile/Scrum experience
