Treasury analyst

About the role:
As a Treasury analyst (Accountant) you will support treasury management by conducting payment analysis and optimizing processes while performing bank reconciliations and maintaining updated accounting information in the ERP for all bank transactions. Also, you will play a key role in payment processes and treasury operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. You will assist with payment-related inquiries, resolve issues with unknown incoming transfers, and support the accounting team during month-end closings, collaborate closely with the LATAM Treasury team to enhance daily tasks and work with banks on necessary documentation.

What you will do:
Support treasury management activities by conducting thorough payment analysis and identifying opportunities for streamlining and optimizing payment processes.
Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations, ensuring that all bank accounts are aligned with the company’s financial records.
Maintain and update accounting information within the ERP system to reflect all bank transactions accurately. Ensure that all relevant bank transactions are recorded in a timely manner to support accurate financial reporting.
Process payments efficiently and ensuring timely execution of all transactions in accordance with company policies.
Supporting payments related inquiries (eg: confirming status of payment, generating and sending POP, supporting accounting End of the months inquires, checking
issues/unkonwn incoming transfers with the bank, others ad-hoc)
Proactively identify and recommend improvements in treasury operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and support the company’s overall financial strategy.
Collaborate effectively with various departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Oversee and manage the bank account administration process, including managing bank mandates, signatories, and ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements. Maintain up-to-date KYC (Know Your Customer) processes,
documentation, and reporting to align with regulatory standards.
Ensure that all treasury-related activities comply with internal company policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with the Treasury team to support daily tasks, with a focus on process automation and increasing operational efficiency.
Assist in preparing and managing bank documentation, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
Assist the Treasury Manager and team with ad-hoc requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks related to treasury operations and bank relations.

What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree Economy, finance, accounting or similar
1- 2 years of experience in cash management/Treasury
Good English communication skills (B1–B2)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest for Technology and eager to look for solutions to automate repetitive tasks.
Team player with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
