Principal Node.js Engineer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Principal Node.js Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js development, server-side JavaScript, API development, and microservices. The technology stack includes popular Node.js technologies and frameworks for backend development, API design, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design and optimization of high-performance Node.js systems, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineering teams while delivering cutting-edge solutions for complex backend and microservices challenges.

What You'll Do:

- Design and optimize Node.js-based backend systems for large-scale applications.
- Architect advanced server-side JavaScript solutions for scalable distributed systems.
- Lead API development initiatives using Node.js and modern backend technologies.
- Drive microservices architecture implementation for complex distributed applications.
- Implement performance optimization techniques for high-throughput Node.js applications.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across projects.
What we are looking for:

- 7+ years of experience in software development with strong Node.js expertise.
- Proven experience in server-side JavaScript development and backend architecture.
- Strong expertise in API development and RESTful service design.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js ecosystem and modern backend development patterns.
- Experience with performance optimization for Node.js applications and systems.
- Advanced level of English.
