Coordinador de Compras

Cali, Colombia | Full-time

Are you a strategic procurement professional with experience managing international suppliers and leading purchasing operations? We are looking for a highly analytical, results-driven Purchasing Coordinator to lead and optimize our national and international procurement processes while contributing directly to business growth and operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys negotiation, supplier development, data-driven decision-making, and working closely with senior leadership.

**What You'll Do

- Lead and coordinate national and international purchasing processes.
- Develop and implement supplier management and evaluation programs from the ground up.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with international suppliers, particularly in construction materials, tires, and related categories.
- Coordinate import operations and product nationalization processes.
- Manage supplier payment terms and purchasing agreements.
- Develop KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and executive reports.
- Prepare cost analyses, supplier comparisons, and procurement insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve administrative and procurement processes.
- Report directly to the General Manager and support strategic business initiatives.

**What We're Looking For

*Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

*Experience

- 4–5 years of experience in national and international procurement.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or team coordination experience.
- Proven experience negotiating with international suppliers.
- Experience managing import processes and supplier development.

*Technical Skills

- Advanced Excel.
- Power BI.
- KPI design, monitoring, and reporting.
- AI tools applied to administrative and business processes.
- Knowledge of suppliers related to construction materials and facility maintenance services is highly desirable.

*Language Requirements

- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate with international suppliers via email, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings.
- Comfortable participating in business conversations in English during international visits and supplier negotiations.
