Role Summary

We are seeking a bilingual (English-Spanish) IT Systems Engineer / IT Support Specialist with solid experience in managing IT infrastructures, end-user support, and systems administration. The main goal of this position is to lead, coordinate, and implement technological solutions that guarantee the availability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and comprehensive support for local and regional offices.



The professional will be responsible for both direct end-user support and the administration of networks, servers, and corporate systems, contributing strategically to the company’s technological development.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and supervise IT and information systems projects.

Administer and maintain networks, servers, corporate software, and IT security systems.

Configure and implement routers, VPNs, wiring structures, firewalls, and office network points, ensuring full workstation connectivity.

Provide L2 support for local and remote users on hardware, software, networks, corporate applications, Active Directory (local and Azure), Office 365, Google Workspace, Citrix, VMware, etc.

Manage incidents through ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), including tracking, reporting, and problem resolution.

Implement and administer database solutions and SQL for information management.

Evaluate and deploy new technologies that enhance internal processes.

Prepare and manage the IT department budget, including investment proposals.

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and internal/external regulations.

Maintain updated technical documentation, manuals, and IT asset inventories.

Provide preventive support and training for end users.





Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management in corporate/multinational environments.

Advanced English proficiency (oral and written). All daily tasks and communications are in English.

Voice over IP (VoIP) experience is required.


Proven experience with:

Networking and telecommunications (routers, VPNs, VoIP, switches, structured cabling).

SQL (mandatory proficiency). o Database and server administration (Windows/Linux). o Active Directory (local and Azure Active Directory – Microsoft Entra ID). o Virtualization (VMware), Citrix, ServiceNow. o ERP, CRM, and institutional systems. o Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).

Strong organizational, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills. o Discretion with confidential information and professional presentation.
