Mordor Staffing is a specialized staffing firm created by a team of US venture capitalists to provide US career opportunities to the top 10% of the technology field.

We are looking to add a full-time, experienced Networking Engineer. Reporting to our Director of Infrastructure Services, you will design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure for our assigned department clients. You will review and implement the network or system and provide Tier-3 level infrastructure support to assigned clients and dedicated IT operational personnel.

Salary: Up to $7M COP monthly + social security, depending on skills and experience.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Requirements:
BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
MCSA, MCSE, AWS/Azure, H/W Vendor certifications or equivalent experience
2+ years of AWS EC2 or MS Azure experience
7 - 10 years of relevant experience working in a computer support role
Experience with MFA, SSO, and O365 preferred.
Experience with SonicWALL, Meraki, Datto, and ConnectWise preferred.
Full technical understanding and expertise in the following: Windows Server, Linux Server, Public and private DNS functionality, Active Directory support, VPN support and configuration, File server support and configuration, RDS environment support, Hypervisors, and Cloud Technology

Responsibilities:
Configure, install, and troubleshoot various network devices and services.
Perform advanced network maintenance and system upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and security updates.
Produce network designs from functional requirements, maintaining network topology information, and network standards documents.
Provide advanced Windows server troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Document changes to client networks, in accordance with change management policies.
Install, support, configure, maintain and upgrade client’s networks and servers.
Offer high-level direction during the troubleshooting of complex service outages.
Support and administer third-party applications.
Specify system requirements and design solutions.
Evaluate network performance and design improvement plans.
Direct the administration of network Infrastructure and the resources on which it relies, including vendors, dependent services-organizations, and enterprise engineering.
