Requirements
Must have:
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and/or Data Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, and data modeling
• Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect
• Understanding of customer journey orchestration and marketing automation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Fluent English proficiency (96–100%)
Nice to have:
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Data Cloud Consultant)
• Experience with CDP platforms, identity resolution, and consent management
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data compliance practices
• Background in digital marketing, CRM, or data engineering
Responsibilities
Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP):
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources (CRM, web, mobile, offline)
• Configure and manage data models, identity resolution, and calculated insights
• Ensure data governance, privacy compliance, and data quality across the platform
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data flows and transformations
• Define future real-time architecture and its impact on SDC SDK/API development, web and email personalization
• Integrate Social Engagement (LinkedIn) and Advertising (Viant) data into SDC to drive personalization
• Integrate webinar and external data pack feeds while enhancing identity resolution rules
• Maintain documentation related to SDC architecture, data dictionary, data lineage, and governance
• Investigate ingestion of Lakehouse data as an alternative to CRM/MCE connectors, considering data quality and credit consumption
Salesforce Marketing Cloud:
• Develop and maintain journeys, automations, and personalized campaigns using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Data Cloud and other platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics tools)
• Implement Data Extensions, AMPscript, SQL queries, and scripting for dynamic content and segmentation
• Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot issues related to deliverability, tracking, and personalization
• Migrate existing Marketing Cloud segments and data transformations into SDC architecture while managing credit consumption
Cross-Platform Integration & Strategy:
• Partner with marketing and analytics teams to define use cases and translate them into technical solutions
• Support A/B testing, audience segmentation, and real-time personalization strategies
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices to recommend platform enhancements
