As a Junior Big Data Engineer at BairesDev, you will support the data team in building and maintaining big data processing systems. You'll work with experienced engineers to implement data pipelines, process large datasets, and ensure data quality while developing your skills in big data technologies.

What You Will Do:

- Assist in designing and implementing big data processing pipelines.
- Help collect, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Support the use of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Aid in monitoring data quality and system performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to meet their data needs.
- Learn and apply big data engineering best practices and methodologies.

What we are looking for:

- 1+ year of experience with big data technologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of distributed computing concepts.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Good level of English.
