Location: Bogotá or Barranquilla, Colombia
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (LA Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Coordinator to oversee daily transportation operations and ensure seamless communication between drivers, customers, carriers, and internal teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service quality, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring freight moves efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor daily dispatch activities to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
Maintain constant communication with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.
Track shipments, monitor delivery performance, and proactively address service disruptions.
Resolve transportation issues, delays, and exceptions while providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Ensure accurate dispatch information and documentation within Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Support operational planning and load assignment to maximize efficiency and service levels.
Assist with onboarding and training team members on dispatch procedures and system usage.
Provide professional customer support regarding shipment status, service requests, and operational inquiries.
Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve processes and overall performance.

Qualifications
Technical, Technologist, or Professional degree.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Previous experience in international dispatch, freight coordination, or transportation operations.
Hands-on experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities.
Experience working with carriers, freight operations, and shipment tracking processes.
