International technology company is looking for a: Cloud Engineering Lead – Azure

Flexible Remote Work | Permanent contract |


Role Summary

Lead the Cloud Engineering team responsible for the company’s core infrastructure, ensuring a secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient platform that supports over 100 developers and product teams. This is a highly technical role with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD.


Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Cloud Engineering team.
Design and evolve Azure infrastructure (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Ensure monitoring, observability, and reliability (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).
Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, Platform, and FinOps teams.
Support cloud migrations (on-premise ? Azure / AWS).
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide technical leadership.


Requirements
Professional with 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps, with proven leadership experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS / IaaS).
Solid expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, and Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD, automation, and observability tools.
English level B2 or C1 (conversational) — interview conducted in English.
Availability to work on PST schedule.
