Role Summary: The Colombia Hub Director will be responsible to lead the management team of the Colombia Hub. The overall objective of this position is to provide strategic guidance and leadership for the Hub during the start-up phase and subsequent ongoing operations as the center grows.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversees the delivery of high-quality IT and engineering solutions by ensuring that best practices, standards, and methodologies are consistently applied to all projects and services.
· Leads multidisciplinary teams in application development, infrastructure, and engineering projects
· Implements and governs technology delivery frameworks aligned security, compliance, and architecture standards.
· Manages the rollout and support of critical technology platforms, tools, and digital services for both internal and external customers.
· Drives adoption of automation, DevOps, and agile methodologies to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability of solution delivery.
· Collaborates in the design and development of the Colombia Hub organization including facilities infrastructure and resource requirements
· Identifies, plans for and develops strategies, services and activities to support current and future customer needs in an efficient, high quality, cost effective manner
· Sets the direction and focus for customer service at the Colombia Hub by determining what the center can offer, qualifying client needs and from this setting service level agreements
· Supports the Colombia Hub staffing through involvement with the selection, training, career development and evaluation programs that promote skills building, career advancement and employee satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (required). Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent)
· Min 15 years experience in Retail , Franchise Model and working with US based headquarter companies.
· 9 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT, shared services, or global delivery center environments, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
·Proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams and complex operations.
·Strong understanding of GCC operating models, transformation, and scaling strategies.
·Deep knowledge in: GCC operating models, transformation, and scaling strategies, compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks relevant to Colombia, organizational change, innovation, digital transformation, talent management, hiring, retention, leadership development, financial acumen, process optimization, budget management, performance monitoring (SLAs/KPIs). Deep understanding of Latin American market dynamics and regulatory environment.
