We are seeking a Director of HR, Talent Strategy & Employee Engagement to lead the full employee lifecycle and act as a strategic talent advisor to the business during periods of growth, transformation, and organizational change.
This role is designed for a senior HR leader who combines strong business acumen with hands-on execution, capable of scaling talent programs, driving organizational effectiveness, and modernizing HR through data, technology, and automation across the Americas.
Responsibilities
Own and lead end-to-end talent strategy and execution, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and offboarding
Serve as a strategic talent advisor during mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, integrations, and workforce reductions, providing guidance on workforce planning, role design, retention risk, and sequencing
Develop and scale recruiting strategies for US and LATAM-facing roles, including job architecture, sourcing models, and offer benchmarking
Partner closely with HR leadership, Organizational Development, and executive stakeholders to ensure talent decisions account for business impact, organizational design, legal considerations, and change readiness
Deliver data-driven insights on organizational design, spans of control, succession planning, competency gaps, and talent risks using structured talent frameworks
Lead the implementation and optimization of HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled recruiting tools, including dashboards to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience
Design and deploy a scalable and automated onboarding experience that supports growth and acquisition scenarios across multiple geographies
Standardize and optimize core HR processes across the US and LATAM while maintaining compliance with local requirements
Oversee the execution of Learning and Development programs, ensuring alignment with business needs and identified capability gaps
Build and strengthen a cohesive employee engagement culture across regions
Directly manage and develop the LATAM HR team
Qualifications
Proven experience owning talent programs end-to-end across the full employee lifecycle
Strong background supporting M&A activity, organizational restructuring, or workforce reductions from a talent perspective
Experience leading cross-cultural, geographically distributed teams, with direct exposure to both US and LATAM talent markets
Hands-on experience implementing or significantly improving HR technology platforms such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, or onboarding tools
Demonstrated fluency with AI tools, automation platforms, and digital HR workflows
Strong project management skills with the ability to drive complex initiatives from design through execution
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and boards
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; consulting background is a plus
Bilingual English and Spanish required; English proficiency at C2 level
