The ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of the organization’s application inventory within the ServiceNow platform. This role supports enterprise architecture efforts by maintaining reliable application data, rationalizing discovered devices, and mapping them to Business Applications and Application Instances. The analyst works closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and data stewards to validate information and enforce APM governance standards. Additionally, the role contributes to portfolio visibility by supporting reporting activities and identifying opportunities for optimization, consolidation, and improved business alignment.

Key focus areas include:

Maintaining high-quality data across the APM and CMDB modules
Mapping applications to business capabilities and processes
Documenting purpose and impact of technology assets
Collaborating with stakeholders to validate data and improve processes
Supporting reporting for application health and portfolio insights
Driving continuous improvement in APM practices

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency with the ServiceNow platform, particularly APM and CMDB capabilities.
