At CGI, we are hiring an IT Desktop Technician to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and leverage their experience to enhance CGI’s ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Technical, technologist, or professional degree in Systems Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 3+ years of experience in customer support and end-user device management.
- 3+ years of experience using Windows OS, Android, and iOS.
- 3+ years of experience with Active Directory / MS Intune and endpoint security.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the office support service environment for all end-user hardware, software, and connectivity, conference room audio/video, printing services, and project work.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Be innovative, offering transformative concepts, leadership improvements, and initiatives.
- Provide timely reports on all aspects of the environment and deliver queue management services, Smart Hands support, and on-site asset coordination.
- Responsible for resolving any issues with end-user equipment and systems, which may involve working with vendors, end users, other CGI support teams, and corporate management.
- The role requires a proactive approach, including recommendations for improvements when necessary and reasonable.

- Activities are performed in an office environment with environmental controls, involving long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Frequent physical demands may include bending, crouching, crawling under or around objects, reaching, lifting, and pushing objects of varying weights up to 40 lbs.
- Must be available to work on-site in the office 5 days a week.
