Due to our recent growth and innovative projects, our Building Division team in Quebec is seeking a Building Mechanical Designer or Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection.

What You Can Expect to Do with Us:

Actively participate in the design and delivery of projects.

Participate in technical site surveys, as required.

Prepare conceptual studies.

Estimate project construction costs.

Perform design calculations and ensure plans comply with guidelines, code requirements, regulations, and WSP design standards.

Participate in the preparation of plans and specifications based on directions provided by the Project Manager or Discipline Lead.

Coordinate the design of your discipline with other professionals.

Collaborate with the production team, administrative support team, and construction supervision team.

What You Will Bring to WSP:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in building mechanical systems (ventilation, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and fire protection).

Valid driver's licence.

Proficiency in French, both written and spoken.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is considered an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Dynamic and motivated personality.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong autonomy and commitment to quality work.

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASPE, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) is considered an asset.

Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is considered an asset.

Knowledge of software such as ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), Procore, K-Ops, etc. is considered an asset.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
