We are seeking a motivated Quality Unit Intern to assist with various quality-related activities, with a focus on documentation and translation of technical documents. This internship will provide the candidate with valuable experience working within our Quality Compliance Team.
Job Description:
The Quality Unit Intern will support the Quality Compliance Team by assisting with documentation tasks, including the review and translation of technical documents such as Method Validations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control processes, with a focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with reviewing and translating Method Validations, Verifications, Scopes, and Challenges from English to Spanish.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal specifications.
• Participate in the coordination of product release processes, verifying quality documentation and specifications.
• Assist in stability studies by coordinating testing schedules and reviewing third-party laboratory reports.
• Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control activities.
• Support quality investigations and assist in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party laboratories to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and supporting QC-related compliance activities.
• Assist with ongoing quality assurance training programs and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, microbiology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical testing.
• Proficiency in English (both writing and reading) to perform documentation functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party partners.
• Previous internship experience or coursework related to pharmaceutical quality control is a plus, but not required.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
