Database administrator - sql server senior

Requirements
Must have:
• Very good hands-on experience administering SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
• Very good experience in research and problem solving
• Very good experience in performance tuning and optimization using native SQL Server monitoring
• Very good experience in backup and recovery models and strategies
• Very good experience in scripting for monitoring and automation
• Experience in Windows server management
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server architecture (system databases, physical architecture, logical components)
• Understanding of relational database concepts (normalization, etc.)
• Experience installing and configuring database management software
• Very good knowledge in indexing, index administration, and statistics collection
• Very good analysis and optimization of queries
• Very good expertise configuring, managing, and deploying SQL Server Replications
• Very good expertise in detection and troubleshooting
• Extensive knowledge of System Dynamic Management Views
• Experience tuning databases from a security standpoint
• Very good skills managing database security (auditing, reporting, privileges, roles, hardening, vulnerabilities resolution, etc.)
• Proficiency in configuring TLS encryption and certificate management for SQL Server security
• Good expertise in programming in Python
• Very good skills designing and maintaining database data warehouses
Nice to have:
• Proficiency in Power BI
• Proficiency in AWS (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS MySQL)
Responsibilities
• Perform DB infrastructure capacity planning (storage, users, concurrency, memory, I/O, latency, throughput, etc.)
• Manage day-to-day database operations
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for DB infrastructure
• Design and periodically test backup and recovery strategies
• Design and implement security and compliance policies
• Document infrastructure and provide knowledge transfer to L2 and L1 teams
• Design and implement monitoring strategies and tools
• Tune SQL statements and analyze DB infrastructure parameters (RDBMS, OS, network, storage, etc.)
• Design access management, audit, and security policies
• Create databases for new projects
• Install, configure, and perform major upgrades (engineered systems, HA)
• Implement database monitoring, automation, and health checks
