Requirements
Must to have:
Strong experience as a SAP FICO Senior Consultant in an AMS (Application Management Services) environment.
Expert knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including Financial Accounting and Controlling.
Proven experience supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.
Strong background in AMS ticket resolution and incident escalation management.
Ability to perform in depth root cause analysis and implement long term preventive solutions.
Experience optimizing SAP FICO configurations such as chart of accounts, cost centers, internal orders, and controlling structures.
Solid understanding of financial postings, reconciliations, payment runs, and month end and year end closing activities.
Experience managing integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and HR.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
Experience conducting configuration audits and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Ability to translate business and financial requirements into effective SAP FICO solutions.
Strong collaboration skills to work with finance, controlling, and technical teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder and client interactions.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
Ability to mentor junior and proficient consultants and provide technical guidance.
Experience documenting solutions, best practices, and lessons learned.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance concepts such as Universal Journal is a plus.
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
5+ years of experience supporting and configuring SAP FICO solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead the resolution of complex AMS support tickets related to SAP FICO processes.
Act as the primary escalation point for financial accounting and controlling incidents.
Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with defined SLAs and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Oversee day to day financial operations, including postings, reconciliations, payments, and closing activities.
Validate financial results and troubleshoot complex system and process issues.
Optimize SAP FICO configurations to improve system efficiency and financial transparency.
Manage and support integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP modules to ensure data consistency.
Conduct audits of financial configurations and master data to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Align SAP financial processes with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
Mentor junior and proficient consultants, providing guidance, reviews, and knowledge transfer.
Act as a subject matter expert during client discussions, workshops, and AMS operations.
Identify opportunities to automate financial processes and streamline AMS workflows.
Leverage new SAP functionalities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Document technical solutions, best practices, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
