Responsabilidades principales

Realizar seguimiento a embarques internacionales, asegurando el cumplimiento de los tiempos establecidos.
Coordinador con agentes de aduana, operadores logísticos, transportistas, bancos y couriers.
Coordinar el traslado de mercancía desde el puerto hasta los almacenes.
Verificar el cumplimiento de requisitos aduaneros y regulatorios.
Controlar y analizar costos asociados a operaciones de importación y exportación.
Elaborar informes y cuadros de seguimiento de las operaciones.
Apoyar en clasificación arancelaria y revisión de partidas.
Coordinador con proveedores y clientes internacionales.
Gestionar permisos, seguros y trámites ante entidades públicas cuando sea requerido.
Brindar soporte en pagos a proveedores nacionales e internacionales.
Mantener el archivo documental de los embarques organizado y actualizado.

Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the IB Technology & Transformation team (supporting Caribbean region) ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This role will support the daily operation of ETL processes designed to ingest data into EDL (Enterprise Data Lake) from various sources, and to generate regulatory reports for ECR (English Caribbean Region) countries, which involves new developments/projects, maintenance and adjustments of existing ETL processes, and bug/incident resolution.
Accountabilities
• Champions a client centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices, tools usage, common components, and patterns.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of ETL development and maintenance initiatives, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, ensuring high-quality and scalable data integration solutions.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, data quality, and adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
• Dimensional data modeling, designing and maintaining scalable Data Warehouse solutions
• Develop database and ETL capabilities to support all EDL ingestions related requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex ETL, database, data quality, and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency within ETL development, monitoring, and support activities.

What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- A master’s degree is considered an asset.
- Conversational English level B2 or higher.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid delivery models
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and process mapping tools.
