Description
This is a full-desk role, which means you own both sides of the desk. You develop client relationships and win new staffing opportunities, and you recruit the technology talent that fills them. The two halves feed each other, and both sit with you.
Thriver is recruiting on behalf of a Microsoft-focused consulting and staffing organization working across Microsoft 365, Azure, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital workplace solutions and technology staffing. The client is identified to candidates during the selection process.
You will recruit across the United States, Mexico, Canada and LATAM, which means several markets, compensation bands and hiring cultures at the same time. The role suits someone who enjoys business development as much as recruiting, and who wants the autonomy that comes with running a desk end to end.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do
2.1 Business development and client management
• Identify and pursue new staffing and workforce solutions opportunities.
• Build relationships with hiring managers, IT leaders, procurement teams and decision-makers.
• Run discovery calls to understand hiring needs and staffing challenges.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, outbound outreach and strategic partnerships.
• Present staffing and workforce solutions to prospective clients.
• Work with leadership on staffing growth initiatives.
• Keep sales activity, opportunities and client interactions accurate and current in the CRM.
• Support contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire opportunities.
2.2 Full-cycle recruiting
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and IT-related positions.
• Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, GitHub, professional communities and other recruiting channels.
• Recruit talent across the United States, Mexico, Canada and LATAM.
• Screen candidates for technical qualification, communication skills and alignment with the role.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates, clients and hiring managers.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.
• Prepare candidate summaries, interview feedback and submission packages.
• Lead offer negotiations and support onboarding activities.
• Deliver a candidate experience people speak well of, whether or not they are placed.
2.3 Staffing operations
• Maintain recruiting pipelines and activity metrics.
• Track candidate movement through each stage of the process.
• Manage multiple openings at once without losing quality or responsiveness.
• Stay current on technology hiring trends, compensation benchmarks and talent availability.
• Support workforce planning initiatives and hiring strategy discussions.
• Ensure recruiting practices meet professional standards and client requirements.
Requirements
Where You Will Recruit
Prior experience in any of these areas is valued, and depth in several of them is what makes this desk work.
• Cloud and infrastructure: Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, network engineering.
• Security: cybersecurity across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Engineering and data: software development, AI and automation, data and analytics.
• Delivery and leadership: IT project management, solutions architects, technical consultants, IT leadership roles.
• End-user services: help desk and desktop support.
3. What You Bring
• 5+ years in IT recruiting, technical recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Experience inside a staffing agency, recruitment firm, workforce solutions provider or RPO environment.
• A track record managing full-cycle recruitment independently.
• Strong sourcing skills with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern recruiting platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail across many simultaneous requisitions.
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients and candidates.
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken.
4. Nice to Have
• Full-desk experience combining recruiting with business development.
• Experience selling staffing, consulting or workforce solutions services.
• Experience recruiting across LATAM and Mexico.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and IT services organizations.
• Hands-on use of applicant tracking and CRM systems. Avionté experience is strongly preferred.
• An established professional network in the technology staffing industry.
